Franch & Smith, P.A., was originally founded by attorney William A. Franch, a well-known Annapolis attorney, in the year 1972. Mr. Franch retired from the practice of law in 1999.
Robert Smith, after serving as an Assistant Attorney General in Maryland and practicing law in Washington, D.C., and Maryland, joined the firm in 1989, and became the lead partner in March 2010, with the elevation of former partner, Ronald H. Jarashow, to be a judge on the Anne Arundel Circuit Court.
With the main office located in Annapolis, Maryland, our state capital, the firm has a central location for practice in all Maryland and the District of Columbia courts.
